The customer-facing display
A second screen that shows the cart, takes the tip decision, and builds trust.
Any tablet or spare screen becomes a customer display — customers watch their items ring up, see the exact total, and answer the tip question on their own screen instead of under the cashier's gaze.
Pairing
- On the spare device, open
/displayin a browser. - On the register, tap Display in the header — it shows a 6-digit code.
- Type the code on the display. Paired. It survives refreshes and reconnects on its own.
What the customer sees
- The cart, live, with line prices and the running total — nothing else from your register leaks over.
- When you take a card payment with a tip prompt, the tip options appear on their screen; their choice flows back to the register (validated against the amounts you offered).
- QR payments show the code big on their screen.
- A thank-you screen with their change after a cash sale.
Unpairing
Tap the display's corner menu → unpair, or just generate a new code from the register — a pairing code works once and expires in 90 seconds.
